You are Hemiunu, architect of Pharaoh Khnum Khufu. You have been put in charge of building Khnum Khufu's pyramid complex at Imentet. Pharaoh has very specific requirements for this complex, and failing to fulfill his wishes will result in early retirement in rather less than comfortable circumstances.

Thankfully you will not have to worry about funerary goods, that's for the royal scribes of Men-Nefer to deal with. The royal engineers have already dug a canal that will make hauling materials to the complex easier, and Pharaoh will provide food for the workers you will need to hire, but the rest is up to you.

While this may seem like a simple enough task, between Pharaoh's strict stipulations and ornate taste, pernickety overseers, pesky union reps, onerous workers, fickle suppliers, stringent tool requirements, challenging environment, and navigating the jungle of commerce, this will demand some experience in this kind of operation, and keep you on your toes. The life of a constructions site manager is never easy.

You will have maximum 20 years to finish this project. You'd be wise to pay attention to the 'rules and regulations' put to you, or you'll be 'finished' a lot sooner than that.

I'm sorry, I just found out that Tilted Mill forum has been closed for new registrations (?). I have no idea if it will close.
